Icons in photography

I'm working on a series of posts, behind the scenes here, about icons in photography. There are a few photographers who have so completely changed my approach to making photographs that I think I should share my thoughts and writings about them with a wider audience. Peter Hujar, Irving Penn, Berenice Abbott, and Judith Joy Ross are some of the ones I'm writing about.

Lest you think I only write about politics lately, here's your reminder that there's plenty more to come.
